Rice Lake Social League

Our friends at Rice Lake Curling Club will be hosting a Friday Social League. This is a great chance for Hayward curlers to try some real ice, without the commitment of a weekly drive for a league. While our focus and attention is on building a club here in Hayward, we also want to promote the sport, and getting on real ice gets people excited! We already have several interested members for this. Please send us an email if you want to commit to a team.

Here are the details:

Game Format – Games will be 6 ends – short, fun, and perfect for a Friday night.

Teams – Teams must include at least one male and one female.

Food – Each week we’ll have a potluck. Bring a dish to share – the more variety, the better!

Schedule

If there are 8 teams or less, all games will be played in a single shift beginning at 6:00 PM, followed by the potluck.

If there are more than 8 teams, there will be two shifts of games:

First shift: 5:30 PM

Second shift: 7:15 PM

Note: If you’re in the second shift, come by at 6:00 so you can still enjoy the potluck before your game.

Cost is $60, which covers a social membership to the Rice Lake Curling Club for the year.
